Quick comment: setting the zip code for your own area does not work- you can change it, but it does not stay- it changes back to the original settings

Thanks Bernie. When the page reloads it will default to the original, contact location. May of our customers have multiple locations. We will try and fix this in the next release.

New dashboard looks good however I do not see a refresh status button to show changes made real time. Am I missing something? IE: after suspending a controller suspension does not show on dashboard. Thanks,

why is the forecast for anything other than the location of my system?

If I want weather info for Carrollton I’ll go to weather .com…NOT my irrigation timer!!!

      Linda,

It’s because it is keyed to contact or a billing location by default. We added a zip code entry field so you could type in to see the weather in other locations, or at multiple sites. Thanks !

New dashboard is great. A bit confusing when it first came out but its good now. One question. I no longer have one of the stores I had with the old dashboard…. INO #219

Is there a way to allow an image to be stored online for each zone (station)? This could be added to the landscape page and would be useful when trying to determine exact location of a zone. The site manager could upload pictures as needed.

Good job on the new dashboard page.

      Hi Curt,

At this time there isn’t a way to add a link or PDF to ETwater Manager. We like hearing from you though so keep the questions coming.

    Dear ET,

I’m a new contractor coming on to work irrigation for Springs Ranch HOA in Colorado Springs, CO. I’m trying to familiarize myself with their ET Management System. I’m looking for some data such as schedules that may be programmed. However, when looking at their system through the login they gave me, it appears that there is no controllers or current schedules programmed. Is this accurate or am I missing something?
Also, do the controllers have to be powered on to be recognized on the network?
Does the software need to interact with the controller all the time?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My controller weather stats are stuck. It says the last rainfall was 12/6/13. The evotranspiration rate never changes. And when I have a station programmed to water every 4 days, it only waters once every 21 days. I can’t seem to fix it. HELP!! We have hot weather and everything is dying.

Thank you for the comment Anne. We changed your weather station which seemed to have stopped reporting weather information. Let us know if you see a change.

      Hi Tim,

Depending on the model type you can use the “Water Station Now” feature located on the right side of your screen when you click on the station link.

Please let me know if this doesn’t answer your question.
      Thank you,

Watering history has bugs. Some days don’t list the watering, whereas some don’t list that there was a blocked day. One day has a water droplet that just says “minutes” without listing a numerical value. I brought up these issues to tech support weeks ago. When will they be addressed?

Thank you, Curt – This issue has been escalated to our development team. We are working on a maintenance patch to address a few issues that have been reported over the last few months. We are hoping to have our next maintenance patch out by the end of July or first week of August. All customers will be notified once the patch is released and the issues addressed.

Well, it is 115 degrees today and none of our clocks are communicating. I don’t see anything posted regarding server issue. Shaping up to be a perfect day to burn out any turf still surviving. WooHoo!

      Hi Robert,

We are sorry you encountered this issue which was part of a outage we had with certain HermitCrab controllers. I know you have connected with Support since then and I hope they addressed all your issues.

Is there any way to water a whole group or must we go in and water each one individual and watch ourselves until one ends to start another? If this was possible it would save us a ton of time and annoyances thanks!

AT this time there isn’t a way to water a group of stations manually using ETwater Manager. You can manually water all stations using the mobile application QuickDraw. To access QuickDraw type in m.etwater.com on your mobile device. The login for QuickDraw is the same for ETwater Manager. You can view the quick tutorial by clicking HERE .

      Thank you,

What is the fastest way to put ONE or TWO stations (zones) on suspend?? With July 4th coming up we want to make sure a certain area is not watered overnight as we are setting up tables, etc. The rest of the property should be watering however to keep green..

      Hi Paul,

You can not suspend by station, however, you can use the “blocking” feature for the same purpose. You will just need to remember to “unblock” the stations once all the events are over.

      Thank you,

Been having problems with Flow Sensor. Have it set correctly for Data Inds 250BR, 1″ pipe, but it registers 78 GPM for a 5 head sprinkler lawn zone, where according to the water meter it is 7.8 GPM. The auto settings are K of .4 and offset of .26. According to the Data Inds manual the settings are supposed to be K value 109 and offset of 27, but doing that just increases GPM to over 10,000. AM now trying to reduce the numbers by 10% (K of 0.04 and offset of .026) but that leads to 9 GPM, which is a little bit high. Could be that the I shouldn’t have changed the offset, but I am flying blind here. Unfortunately, now I can’t change it, because when I click where it says “edit” next to flow sensor, nothing happens, and if I hover over it it says “javascript:showEdidFS();”. Seems quite buggy.

      Ken,

We looked at your settings, and adjusted the flow controller device setting to the 250 BR 1″. Now the values appear to be correct, and what you were assuming.

Let us know if you have any additional problems.

      Thanks.

Just a follow-up note that I spoke with ETWater further on the flow measurement issue, and they think something is wrong with the device and are sending a replacement. Heard back shortly after my post (which probably should be deleted). THANKS>

Having trouble with connectivity during the day, and I live in a Suburban area with good coverage. Usually have two bars and strength of 9, but often during the day cannot connect with one bar and strength of 4. By contrast, with my ATT blackberry get all 5 bars and Verizon iPhone get 3 out of 5 bars. Who is the carrier, and can one be switched to a more reliable one.

      Ken,

We use a service provider that has relationships with multiple carriers. If you continue to have problems, please call our support team at 888-685-5505 and they can walk you through some procedures to help determine what else can be done to help.

      Thanks !

One of my controllers (serial #0725720148) has had no irrigation water drop icons posted in the 30-day calendar for the past two to three months. I have no way of knowing if ETWater is actually watering on the days posted in the last/next scheduled cycle runs. The only way I know if ETWater is actually watering on this property is the water stressed appearance of the plants and the soil moisture probing I have to do to know what ETWater is doing on this property. Please check this out and correct the problem.
