Temporary Outage – Device Communications 2


ETwater experienced a temporary outage over the last 48 hours causing devices to miss connections.  The system is recovering and all devices are trying to connect at once which is why it may take up to 12 hours for all units affected to reconnect.

If your unit has not made a successful connection by tomorrow morning please contact our customer service team (1-888-685-5505).

    Doesn’t ETWater have a backup?? What steps are being taken to prevent this in the future. This “outage” happened at a critical time; ie, 95 degrees, etc.

      Hi Paul,
      Yes, we do have back up procedures in place, however, with all the controllers connecting at once it is taking longer than expected to get the controllers connected. We are working on increasing the time to try and get all the remaining controllers connected tonight. ETwater controllers store their last downloaded program so it can continue to water even without connecting daily, barring any damage to the controller. If you do not believe the controller is watering please call customer support so we can assist. Additionally, all users can remote into the controller and water any station using QuickDraw.
